This is where the adults come to getaway, and dogs are welcome too! This unique 1980s Round House Chalet has been fully renovated into a luxury “boho chic” natural beauty mere steps away from fun on the slopes.  When the fun is done, and your toes are froze, relax by the warmth of the carefully added fire pit or defrost in the private hot tub and listen to the babbling creek sing. You can cozy up inside by the fireplace glow enjoying après ski as the subtle decor gently allows you to take in the natural beauty of the trees that surround the property or spot one of the many wildlife visitors that inhabit the neighborhood. We know you'll be simply smitten and soon counting down the days until you can return to this charming retreat for more ski action, breezy summer sun, or brilliant autumn leaf peeping., there’s a little something for everyone here at the Beech Hut.

The Beech Hut Experience - Luxury Amenities

This property offers above ground, deck level entry with keypad check-in into the two bedroom home. You'll walk into the kitchen and dining area with handy pegs for hanging coats just to your left and a boho patterned bench to sit and remove boots/shoes. A nifty boot tray can be located just to the right of the washer/dryer tower behind the door. Right next to the make shift entry bench is the hidden garbage cabinet where the microwave sits for easy access without cluttering up the kitchen counters. Dog water and food bowls are situated on an anti-drip tray right next to the microwave tower. Continuing on the left side of the home is a large console coffee station where you will find ample cabinet space with baskets to store your non-perishable foods and snacks. One cabinet is taken up to house the instant pot.  A Keurig Duo sits on top ready to brew a single cup or a full pot for your enjoyment. Hanging above the console is a lovely shelf unit that displays the coffee mugs (small and large), Mason jar style rocks glasses, water glasses, and stemless wine/cocktail glasses. 

To the right hand side when you walk in is the stacked washer/dryer tower behind the door and large laundry basket on top. Next to it a luxury kitchen with solid maple cabinets, sparkling quartz countertops, and a hexagon shape ceramic tile backsplash that gives a nod to the whimsical round house style architecture of the home. In the center of the room, a beautiful solid wood table and soft velvet fabric chairs under a gorgeous farmhouse style chandelier. 

Continue on into the living room where a cozy atmosphere awaits with soft neutral colors balance the stone gas fireplace. Two papasan style chairs flank the warm faux leather sofa beckoning a reader to sit by the window and watch the wildlife outdoors. 

Into the hallway and straight ahead is a full bathroom with moody dark farmhouse style fixtures  that pop against the bright white walls. 

To the right of the bathroom is the “Autumn Room” where cozy warm rust and orange accents in the linens as well as the brilliant fall scene over the headboard. A lofty ladder guides adventurous guests up to a cozy twin size sleeping or reading nook equipped with its own media outlet and reading light. 

To the left of the bathroom the “Winter room” boast cooler tones of grays and turquoise for a refreshing wintery feeling with its snowy scene above the bed to its fun Ski posters across. This room has its own half bath with similar dark farmhouse fixtures. 

The exterior of the Beech Hut now features a brand new hot tub to soothe achy muscles and look up at the stars at night. Off the deck a fenced in area with multiple locking gates allow your fur babies to safely roam and do their business. And a dedicated fire pit area is the perfect place for s’mores and stories as you listen the trickle of the creek running alongside the property.  

Small and cozy is the way of these old round house chalet’s, and the Beech Hut elevated that cozy to a boho chic vibe with ultra comfort and function in mind.  So whether you come to rest and relax while taking in all the amazing nature we have an abundance of or you seek adventure and fun on the slopes or trails, you are sure to make wonderful memories here on Beech Mountain, North Carolina at this special vacation home we loving call the Beech Hut.
